How do I reserve the property? First, determine the time of year you would like to visit, then, check our availability calendar to make sure that our home is not already booked. Next, simply e-mail us with your requested dates or questions. Once we have confirmed availability, a $275 deposit will be necessary within 48 hours to secure the reservation. Full payment is required no later than 30 days prior to the date of your arrival. Where do I check in and get the keys? You will check-in and pick up your keys at office of our management company, located approximately 2 miles from the resort. Check-in time is 4PM or later on the date of your arrival. There is a lock box available for those arriving after hours. Upon reaching the resort, you will be required to show your rental confirmation at the guard house in order to be admitted to the resort and receive a parking pass. How do I check out? Checkout time is 10AM or earlier on the date of your departure. Late check outs require 48 hours notice and are subject to availability. Additional charges may apply. At the end of your stay, please strip all the used beds, place the trash in plastic trash bags and with in the bench outside the door. Place all used dishes and silverware in the dishwasher, turn off lights, secure & lock all windows and doors/sliding doors before you leave. Set the air conditioning to 80 degrees. Keys must be returned to the management office (there is a $25 charge for not returning the key). Please remember to take all of your personal belongings. How many people may stay in the house? The house can accommodate a maximum of 8 guests. Do you allow pets or smoking? No. For the health and comfort of all our guests, smoking and pets are strictly prohibited. What is provided in the home? Our home has been carefully furnished and equipped with our guests’ comfort in mind. There are two sets of sheets for each bed and three sets of towels for each bath. Pillows, blankets and pool towels are provided. All bedrooms have hairdryers, alarm clocks, and televisions. The kitchen is stocked with plates, cups, bowls, glasses, silverware and pots and pans. There is a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee-maker and an electric kettle. There is also a pack and play, a high chair and a Playstation 2. For your laundry needs, a full sized washer and dryer are provided along with an iron and ironing board. The cleaning staff supplies small hotel-sized soaps and shampoos, 1 roll of toilet tissue for each bath, a single use of laundry detergent, a roll of paper towels and several trash bags. Are there grocery stores near by? There is a Marketplace (Winn Dixie) located in the Formosa Gardens Plaza next to the management office and a Publix supermarket is 1 mile further up 192 West on the right. A Super Walmart can be found by taking 192 West to Route 27 North, then turning right at the first traffic light which is Cagan Crossings Blvd. There is also a sundry shop in the clubhouse complex that stocks some convenience items. What kind of housekeeping service provided? The home will be fully cleaned prior to your arrival and again upon your departure. If desired, additional cleaning services can be arranged. What kind of telephone service is provided? There is a telephone located in the kitchen and in 2 of the bedrooms. Emergency services (#911), toll-free and local/long distance calls are all free of charge. International calls and operator assisted calls will require the use of a calling card. Is there internet access? The home has a high-speed internet connection that is free of charge. Is there cable TV? Yes. There are 4 televisions in the home and all are equipped with cable TV and DVD players. Where do I park? The driveway directly in front of the house is private and only for the use of our guests. There is additional parking behind the house for any extra vehicles. What if I have a problem during my stay? In the unlikely event of a problem, our management company is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist you. They will attempt to resolve the problem within 24 hours, but in some instances, specialized professional attention may be required. These incidents will be resolved as quickly as possible. What is the cancellation policy? All cancellations must be received in writing and are subject to the following penalties: * 30 days or more before the arrival date = $200 administration fee * 21-29 days before arrival date = 75% cancellation charge * 20 days or less before arrival date = 100% cancellation charge (please consider Trip Insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances) How far are the theme parks? The Windsor Hills Resort is currently the closest rental community to the Disney property. - 5 minutes to the entrance to Walt Disney World. - 10 minutes to Sea World - 15 minutes to Universal How do I use the resort amenities? You may gain access to all of the resort facilities at Windsor Hills by obtaining a guest proxy card at the Welcome Center located in the Clubhouse. Each card requires a $6 deposit (refundable upon return) and will be good for the duration of your stay. Use of all community facilities are subject to community guidelines which will be provided to you upon receiving your proxy card. |
